 A+ Pet Grooming Academy has been in business for over 14yrs.   Alice and I took it over in 1996 and have been going strong ever since.  A+ has been recommended to many people from many Vetranerians in our area many many times.  You are welcomed to call Poland Animal Hospital  if you would like a reference. 998-2444. 

Who We Are

  Alice Fernald and Bonnie Hawley-Desjardins are the owners and instructors . 

    Alice has been living in Maine for over 30yrs after moving here from Long Island New York where she was born and raised.  Alice got certified here at A+ Pet Grooming Academy but at that time the name of the grooming school was Maine-ly Dogs.  She then worked for the former instructors learning how to become an instructor herself. 

    Bonnie Hawley-Desjardins  was born and raised in Auburn Maine were she still resides. She is also a graduate of A+ Pet Grooming Academy 2 years later.  She went on after school and opened her own grooming shop with another lady in Lewiston Maine.  (Fancy Faces Pet Grooming)  Then the opportunity came for she and Alice to buy the academy and they have been enjoying teaching ever since.
